Must say that I like all three of them separately and together no matter what project they are doing but my favorite solo has got to be Jerry's! I never knew just how much he influenced their sound until I heard his "Come Somewhere".

Honestly I've haven't listened to that many (yeah I know blasphemy). I had the first poundhound which I really liked, but haven't heard any since. I also had Ty's Moonflower Lane, which was good. I've like the samples I've heard from Jerry's solo album, but haven't heard the whole thing. As great as they are individually, there is just something about the combination of them together that just can't be beat for me.

Yeah, the guys seem really happy with it. From Billboard - As for the King's X record, Pinnick describes the still-untitled disc as "A cross between 'Dogman' and 'Gretchen [Goes to Nebraska],' I think. Those are the two records that we feel really truly represent us. It came out great -- even Michael was so excited. He got goose bumps on several songs, and he said he doesn't get that often." The album should be out in the summer, as the band is currently fielding offers from record companies. "We decided to shop this one around because we're real proud of it," Pinnick says. Their new album coming out in April I think is going to be very good. They're working with a producer again so I think that may push them in some new directions (Please Come Home Mr. Bulbous was their last studio album I really liked). this coming from me is saying alot. I've been a musician for 95% of my life and they are the only band for like years that dosent make me wish I was was up there and lose interest after the first 4 songs....the point is I'm pretty jaded and the still to this day the make me feel like a 14 YO kid at my first concert.

Seriously dudes, they are the second favorite of any touring band still gigging today. Ty Taybor has to be among my most favored "tasty lick" guitarists. If David Gilmore is #1, Ty's a close #2. Not to mentioned Dougie's sweet, soulful, sangin'. These guys definitely 'walk in the big parade.' Rock on!
