For some reason, Dogman has over the years become my favorite Album by them. The other more beatllish stuf is awesome...just dogman for me just kills it.

Thu, March 10, 2005 - 11:32 AMDogman rocks, over the years it's become my favorite as well. Intense! I really love Bulbous though too, I think one of their more creative albums since Dogman. The samples I've heard from the new songs makes me think their new album is going to be really good. -

Thu, March 10, 2005 - 3:16 PMI thought manic moonlight had a couple of cool tunes on it, i especially liked jenna. i just couldn't get into the acid loops. it was funny because i was working on my own songs using acid loops and heard them using one of the same loops and thought are these guys really as low budget as me at this point?!? Black Like Sunday had a a couple tunes on it I liked, although it was obvious they were older tunes. but whatever they put out i pretty much support.
but dogman! what a killer album!
I liked that one too because they had a great producer working with them and that's why i'm kind of excited about the new one. -

Thu, March 10, 2005 - 6:02 PMDogman was perhaps the creative and commercial pinnacle. But that doesn't mean they don't still crank out some fucking awesome rock tunes. Some of the heaviest riffs ever written. I used to get all weapy listening to ' 'Flies and Blue Skies' then get slapped silly by 'Black the Sky'.
Anyway, what a great fucking band. Sooooo glad they still write, record, and TOUR! It seems like I have 2 or 3 chances a year recently to check 'em out here in L.A. I'm a drummer mind you, and Jerry's great, but I can't get enough of Ty's super sweet licks to tie me over. Then again there's Dougie's soulful singin' and, pardon the expression, bottom end.
Let's face it they just fucking rock hard, all day, all night.
